I feel your anguish and frustration. The same thing happened to my sister. Her car skidded and crashed in the freeway. She called 911 and she was place on hold for several minutes and they started asking the routine questions, press #1 for spanish...yada..yada..yada... She was in a state of shock and could not believe that they let her go though that when her car was going to explode anytime.... Luckily some truck drivers stop to help her out of the car and call CHP and help her out of the accident. That was 6 years ago, and she said that 911 changed since than...from what you shared with us, did not seem to change much... I am so glad that your mother was safe at home with you.
