More Portable Applications

PSPad Editor is a feature rich text editor that can be used to write XHTML and it will install and run on a Flash drive. PSPad integrates well with TopStyle Lite CSS editor (download link) which can also be installed to a Flash drive.

If you’re looking for additional portable applications try The Portable Freeware Collection or Pendriveapps.com. I picked up Opera portable and Wink, a great screen capture utility at Pendriveapps.com. There are also lists of portable applications at Quate News Net, Makeuseof.com and tinyapps.org.

Remember you can use Google to search for additional applications that you can install on your portable device. Try searching +”application name” +portable.

Edit 07-08-09 – Web Design Booth has published 32 Useful Portable Apps For Web Designers and Developers. You can install these applications on your flash drives and use them in class.
