you should use karma 2 script, it really good soft. im using this one to block spam comments.

Someone else below asked this already about antispam scripts.
I am getting nailed with Spam on my website mails and in our blog website – now its offline too much spam. Is there anyway to stop this? If not, there really isn’t any point in leaving it up and active. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Robin, give Bad Behavior and Akismet a try, in addition to Spam Karma, and you will find comment spam practically a thing of the past. I don’t know what Referrer Bouncer is, but Bad Behavior and Spam Karma do the job for me on my main site, and Akismet and Bad Behavior do the work on WordPress.com.

Though a new comment spam-bot is making the rounds right now, so expect more comment spam getting through until these programs can smack it in the face.
