Quick Start Your Design with XHTML Templates – Just like the title says, a set of templates to help you to start web projects.

PhotoshopSupport.com has a lot of quick tutorials and nice plugins and actions for Photoshop.

Since we’ve been talking about digital photography, LifeHack has a Digital Photography HOWTO roundup of helpful links to resources and tutorials. LifeHacker is just a cool site, lots of technology resources. Don’t forget, I have lots of digital photography resources at tinkertech.net.

Design Clichés – Symbolism in graphic design that has become cliché. Educational and entertaining; the comments are also worth skimming.

Embedding flash without embed – Simple Method – View the source code of the sample page to see how it’s done.

I haven’t had a lot of time to check out Uzful.org, but from what I have seen it looks pretty cool. A lot of free goodies for web and fun!

Acrylic from Microsoft – Read the review of this beta design application and download it here if you dare (about 80 megs).

Ahhhh, we all want to make a little more money. SitePoint has a new article Make Money From Your Content Site.

I think there are a couple of you who are working on restaurant sites; here’s a tutorial on How to style a restaurant menu in CSS from Web Graphics.

  1. David Hucklesby Says:

    A word of caution to visitors to the XHTML templates
    site. You really must know what you are doing to use these templates.
    For example, the first template has this in it:
    meta http-equiv="content-type" content="application/xhtml+xml;
    (The rest of the line is cut off, viewed in Firefox)

    Using this will fail in IE, as it does not
    understand XHTML served up as XML. Okay with modern browsers, but IE has yet to enter the 21st century.

    Cordially, David.
