		<description>Administrative assistants and office workers are frequently asked to send cover letters and resumes. Also non-profit organizations tend to request cover letters.  When applying for technical jobs it&#039;s not required as much. While I tend to post a lot of techie stuff it&#039;s important for me to provide info that&#039;s going to be relevant for both groups of students. :)</description>

I read a lot of posts from career counselors/experts and many of them recommend cover letters, but of course many throw them in the trash because they don’t have time.
