New Class Blog Design

June 9th, 2005 | 2 Comments | Posted in Design and Layout

As you can see, the class blog has a new design! David Rice was kind enough to create several terrific mock designs with graphics. Last night I coded the CSS to work with WordPress and got everything working. David, thank you so much for all of your hard work, I’m thrilled!

I still have a few more CSS tweaks to complete, but most of the hard work is done. I will test the layout on the Mac today, but it’s looking pretty good in IE, Firefox, and Opera on the PC.

I also incorporated the visited link technique that I mentioned in the blog yesterday.

I will try to add some notes to the WordPress tutorial on styling blogs over the next week or so.

Thank you again, David. You gave me the push I needed and you do beautiful work!

Robin, I came accross the new design and I love it! I checked out the new design on my Mac and on all my browsers. The new design holds up on all of them including my IE 5.2. The browsers that I used: Netscape 7.2, Firefox 1.0.4, IE 5.2, Opera 6.0.3, Camino 0.8.2, Safari 1.3 and AOL 10.3. Good job! Take care!

Oh thanks Mike! I just did a check on our Mac, but it was a quick one. I’m so happy to hear that it looks good on your end.

    Hope all is well!
