Removing Objects from Photos

Workshop Prep:

Please create a folder called f2o in your PM directory (drive F:\) using Windows Explorer. Move the photo gallery that you would like to upload into the f2o folder.

For our workshop today I thought I would post a few resources on removing objects from photos:

Removing a person or object from a photo – This technique uses the pen tool, it may be more difficult if you don’t have a handle on how the pen tool works

You may also want to extract an object from the background, here is a tutorial on extracting.

While we’re on the subject of Photoshop, Tutorial Outpost has over 1,600 Photoshop tutorials for you to try. There are also quite a few links to Photoshop Retouching tutorials at PhotoshopRoadmap.

We will also use WS_FTP to FTP our Photoshop galleries to f2o.org.

The Web Design References at Duluth are filled with useful links to sites on CSS, Color, Dreamweaver, Typography, Flash, etc. A site worth bookmarking!
