Attendance and Recruiting
At the beginning of class I discussed attendance. While I want to be flexible with all of you, I feel that’s it’s imparetive that class attendance improves. Last week I learned that another computer class, similar to ours, will be closed in June. A medical class will be opened in its place. This closure is due to low enrollment/poor attendance. I honestly feel that our program here at the Tech Center really makes a difference in so many lives and I don’t want to see it jeopardized.
If you know people who may be interested in attending any of our classes, please feel free to give them my number or e-mail address. If you attend meetings or belong to groups that you can display our flyers or publicize our program, let me know. If you belong to any Bay Area mailing lists that you could post this information about class, I would appreciate it!
I would also appreciate suggestions for publicizing our program. The current budget is $0, so keep that in mind.
