Recovering the Lost Art of Note-Taking
Working Smart has an excellent article on the Lost Art of Note-Taking. I am a firm believer in the benefits of taking notes, especially in class. 
I find that when I’m in a classroom situation taking notes helps me to digest the material being presented; even if I never look at the notes again, the act of writing down the material helps me to remember what’s been covered.
You can think of this site as my big notepad.
