CSS Reboot

April 2nd, 2005 | No Comments | Posted in CSS, Design and Layout

CSS Reboot “is a community project that brings together web professionals from all over and encourages them to collectively launch redesigns of their sites on May 1st.” You can see the participants in this exciting project here.

AListApart has a couple of new articles that you may find interesting, Hybrid CSS Dropdowns and Spruced Up Site Maps.

Mezzoblue has a funny short on going too far with CSS. There is also an article entitled Image Replacement. Again that outlines the various image replacement methods, there drawbacks, and the future of image replacement with CSS3. Also on the site I found a nice explanation of What is RSS/XML/Atom/Syndication?.

Finally, I was visiting Autistic Cuckoo and there was a review, of sorts, of the book the Zen of CSS Design. The comments include responses from both authors. The author referred to two other articles he has written in this article that are worth reading (well all of his site is worth reading), Alt Tags and Inheritance vs. Cascade.

So much to learn, so little time!
