WAMP Server Setup

January 25th, 2005 | 3 Comments | Posted in PHP/MySQL & JavaScript

1/25/05 – New tutorial for Setting up Testing Servers. This includes a free testing server bundle called WAMP5 Server that you can install at home. WAMP5 includes Apache, MySQL, PHP, and phpMyAdmin. The tutorial covers installing and configuring WAMP. The tutorial also includes installing the Coldfusion module, installing IIS (Internet Information Server), and administering MySQL databases with phyMyAdmin. There are additional server bundles listed at HotScripts (there may be a Mac version, but I’m not sure).
