Designing for the Web

Designing for the Web is an excellent article that discusses the constraints a designer must face when developing a web page/site. The article discusses resolution, browsers, percentage vs. pixel based design, color, graphics, text, and accessibility and usability.

This is the Industrial Design Society of America | San Francisco chapter website. Their newsletters often have very interesting articles about challenges/issues facing any designer.

I just finished reading BLINK by Malcolm Gladwell and there’s a short 2-pg article in Issue 12 of the InCA newsletter. Issue 10 talks about EMOTIONAL DESIGN. I’d recommend both books – fascinating stuff.
